Processing for enquiries & orders

When you request a check or place an order, we process the data you provide (e.g. name, email, phone, company, the Google profile concerned) to handle your request and perform the contract. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (contract/pre-contractual steps).

Payments (Stripe, PayPal, Klarna)

Payments are processed via Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd., Ireland). The data required for the payment is transmitted to Stripe. Depending on the chosen payment method (e.g. credit card, PayPal, Klarna, iDEAL), processing may involve further payment providers such as PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A. (Luxembourg) or Klarna Bank AB (Sweden); their privacy notices additionally apply. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. Details: stripe.com/privacy.

Live chat (Tidio)

For support we use the Tidio live chat. Opening the chat may process connection data and cookies. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) or our legitimate interest in efficient support (Art. 6(1)(f)).

Language/location detection

To offer you the website in your language, we determine — only with your consent — the country you access from, based on your IP address, via an external service (GeoJS, get.geojs.io; fallback api.country.is). Your IP address is transmitted to the respective provider (possibly to a third country). We only store the detected country code locally in your browser (no server-side logging). Legal basis: consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), revocable at any time with future effect. Without consent no IP lookup takes place; language detection then uses only the language set locally in your browser.

Hosting & server logs

Our website is hosted by an infrastructure provider (Railway). Access data technically required (e.g. IP address, timestamp, requested resource) may be processed. Legal basis: legitimate interest in secure operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Analytics, marketing & affiliate tracking (Google Tag Manager, FirstPromoter)

Only with your consent via our cookie notice do we load Google Tag Manager (Google Ireland Ltd., Ireland), which delivers analytics and marketing tags (e.g. conversion measurement), and FirstPromoter to attribute partner referrals. Cookies may be set and data (e.g. IP address, device and usage data) processed and possibly transferred to third countries (in particular the USA). Legal basis: consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Without consent these services are not loaded; you can change your decision at any time via “Cookie settings” in the footer.

Reviews (Trustpilot)

We display our current Trustpilot rating and link to our profile on Trustpilot (Trustpilot A/S, Denmark). No data is transmitted to Trustpilot when you merely visit our website; only when you follow the link does Trustpilot's privacy policy apply.

Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the stated purposes or as required by statutory retention periods (e.g. tax/commercial law).

Your rights

Right to lodge a complaint

You have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority — in Austria the Austrian Data Protection Authority (dsb.gv.at).
